About the role

As a Quality Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated Quality & Regulatory Affairs team supporting a growing and innovative medical device organization.

You will be involved in a variety of quality activities across the product lifecycle and have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues throughout the organization.

The role focuses on maintaining and improving our Quality Management System while supporting the organization in meeting regulatory and quality requirements in a practical and efficient way.

Your main responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), related quality processes, and electronic QMS platforms.
• Manage and support CAPA, non-conformity, and change control activities.
• Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal audits.
• Support external audits, inspections, and supplier audits as needed.
• Support the management review process and quality performance monitoring.
• Review quality records and documentation to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support process improvements and help drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues on quality processes and QMS requirements.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and combines strong quality knowledge with a pragmatic and positive mindset. You are proactive, structured, and detail-oriented, while also understanding how to apply quality requirements in a practical way that supports business objectives.

You are comfortable challenging the status quo, asking questions, taking ownership of issues through to completion, and making informed decisions when balancing quality, compliance, and business needs. You enjoy collaborating across functions, are eager to learn, and are motivated by continuous improvement.

Skills and experience

• 3+ years of experience working with Quality Management Systems in the medical device industry.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Good understanding of quality processes such as:
  • CAPA
  • Non-conformities
  • Change control
  • Internal audits
  • Management reviews
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and medical device regulatory requirements.
• Experience from software medical devices is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive activities forward.
• Able to balance compliance requirements with business needs using a risk-based mindset. 
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written.

About the role

This role offers the best of both worlds, combining hands-on technical work with people leadership. You will have personnel responsibility for a team of 8–12 developers while remaining an active contributor to the development of RayStation, our Treatment Planning System.

As a Group Manager, you focus on enabling your team to succeed. You support and develop your employees through regular one-on-one conversations, competence development, and recruitment. You will not be alone in your leadership role, but part of a collaborative management context with support from both peers and the wider organization.

In your role as a developer, you work close to the domain on technically demanding solutions and contribute to building robust, scalable systems. Depending on your background, you will work across backend, frontend, or full-stack development, contributing to architecture and system design. Our solutions are built using modern architectural principles such as Domain-Driven Design, event-driven systems, and asynchronous communication, in an environment where security, data integrity, and reliable system communication are critical. Your technical expertise will have a direct and meaningful impact on patient care.

Your profile

You have a strong technical foundation in .NET development and a clear interest in taking responsibility for both people and technical delivery. You are motivated by building high-performing teams, creating structure, and contributing to a safe and sustainable working environment. With a humble and communicative leadership style, you build trust and take ownership of people-related topics such as performance conversations, competence development, and recruitment, with support from the organization. You are self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to combine deep technical understanding with a present and engaged leadership approach.

To succeed in this role, you bring:

• A Master’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent academic background
• At least 7 years of experience developing complex products using .NET
• A genuine interest in people leadership and personnel responsibility
• Experience from leadership roles or informal leadership in development teams
• A strong drive to contribute to and further develop the engineering organization
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Previous experience in a role with formal people management responsibility together with fluency in Swedish is not required but considered as highly meritorious.
