Physics Support Specialist to RaySearch America

About the position

This is a remote position  with ~25% travel required.  You will work from home while supporting customers remotely using advanced tools, Teams meetings, phone and email interaction.  We pride ourselves on quick and professional service,  along with a positive and supportive environment including our team of physicists, dosimetrists and IT specialists.

You will mainly work with:

  • Training customers on RayStation physics algorithms, linac modeling and QA
  • Assisting with python scripting troubleshooting and customer support and training as needed
  • Creating and developing long term relationships with customers, both via remote service and onsite visits
  • Answering tenders and explaining product functionality
  • Conducting large and small group presentations at seminars, training programs, and trade shows
  • Assisting and guiding new customers during the product delivery process
  • Planning, performing and documenting application demos and trainings, mostly for customers but also internally
  • Collaborating with our development department through exploratory testing of new product versions

Your profile

We believe that a Physics Support Specialist must have a great sense for service and customer support as well as a strong motivation to work in a highly dynamic environment. You should be a social and positive person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and enjoy presenting and teaching to both bigger and smaller crowds.

Further, you should be able to quickly adapt to new contexts and appreciate various environments as well as a variety of different tasks. You should enjoy facing new challenges and solving complex problems, both independently and in collaboration with your team members. You must be comfortable with working proactively, taking initiatives and  it is critical to have the ability to prioritize your work and adapt to sudden changes. 

Experience & skills:

  • MS or PhD degree in medical physics or related field with relevant certification
  • Five years clinical experience
  • Two years experience with RayStation treatment planning system
  • Strong PC skills, including all aspects of MS Office
  • Ability to travel up to 25% 

Experience in industry, teaching and other treatment planning systems is ideal.

We believe in fair and equitable compensation for all employees. The base salary range listed below represents the potential compensation for this role. The final offer will be determined based on job-related qualifications, internal compensation structures, and budget considerations. This range may be subject to change in the future.
Pay Range: $130,000 - $175,000 per year
