Application Specialist - RayCare

Are you a medical professional with hands-on clinical experience in both TPS and OIS systems? Do you have working knowledge of RayStation and RayCare?

At RaySearch America, you can put your expertise to work by helping clinics optimize their workflows and make the most of our full suite of OIS and TPS software solutions. You’ll play a key role in ensuring systems run smoothly and effectively in real-world clinical environments.

About the position

This is a remote position with approximately 25% travel. Travel is an important and rewarding part of the role - you’ll visit clinics and vendor sites to test integrations in real-world environments, partner directly with customers, and see firsthand how your workflow configurations support daily patient care.

When you’re not on-site, you’ll work from home, assisting customers through remote access tools, Microsoft Teams meetings, phone, and email. You’ll have the flexibility of remote work while staying closely connected to both clients and colleagues.

We’re known for being responsive, practical, and easy to work with. You’ll join a supportive team of physicists, dosimetrists, and IT specialists who value collaboration and take pride in solving problems together.

You will mainly work with:

  • Creating and implementing customized OIS workflows
  • Assisting and guiding new customers during the product delivery process
  • Creating and developing long term relationships with customers, both via remote service and onsite visits
  • Conducting large and small group presentations at seminars, training programs, and trade shows
  • Planning, performing and documenting application demos and trainings, mostly for customers but also internally
  • Collaborating with our development department through exploratory testing of new product versions

Your profile

You are a service-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. Providing high-quality customer support comes naturally to you, and you communicate clearly and confidently - whether working one-on-one or presenting to larger groups.

You adapt quickly to new situations and enjoy solving complex problems, both independently and as part of a team. You take initiative, stay organized, and are able to prioritize effectively when plans change.

Your background may come from hands-on clinical work - such as treatment planning, OIS/TPS usage, treatment delivery - or from testing and validating medical software or other critical healthcare systems. In either case, you are comfortable analyzing clinical workflows, identifying risks, and ensuring systems perform safely and reliably in real-world settings.

You value collaboration and enjoy working closely with developers, clinical experts, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver practical, effective solutions.

Experience & skills:

  • BS or MS degree in medical physics/dosimetry with relevant certification
  • Five years clinical experience with OIS and TPS knowledge
  • Two years experience with RayStation treatment planning system
  • Knowledge in the field of Radiation Therapy, as an CMD and/or RTT
  • Strong PC skills, including all aspects of MS Office
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Experience in industry, teaching and other treatment planning and OIS systems is ideal.
