Sales Manager South Korea

RaySearch Laboratories develops innovative software solutions that improve cancer treatment around the world. Our products are used by leading cancer centres globally and support healthcare professionals in delivering advanced radiation therapy and oncology care.

We are now looking for a Sales Manager to join our Sales & Market Development team in South Korea. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales activities, developing customer relationships, and expanding RaySearch's presence across the South Korean market.

About the job

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for sales, business development, and customer satisfaction within your assigned territory. You will work closely with customers throughout the sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and understanding customer needs to contract negotiations, implementation follow-up, and long-term relationship management.You will collaborate with colleagues across RaySearch and play an active role in executing regional sales and marketing initiatives. The position requires frequent travel within the territory and participation in industry conferences and customer meetings.

Your main tasks

  • Drive direct sales activities and business development within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute sales plans aligned with regional business objectives.
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales targets in collaboration with the Regional Business Director.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with prospective customers.
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and on-site product demonstrations.
  • Prepare quotations and support tender and procurement processes.
  • Negotiate contracts and support the successful closing of business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with clinical, technical, and support teams throughout the sales process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customers, opportunities, and activities in Salesforce.
  • Participate in national and international conferences, seminars, and industry events.
  • Deliver a high level of after-sales support and customer follow-up.
  • Contribute market insights and customer feedback to support product and business development.

Your profile

We are looking for a commercially driven professional with strong sales capabilities, an established network, and experience working within the South Korean healthcare market. 

You are a mid-to-senior level professional, ideally with 10+ years of proven sales experience in the medical industry. You are a customer-focused and relationship-oriented professional who enjoys building trust with customers and developing long-term business partnerships. With excellent communication and networking skills, you are confident engaging with healthcare professionals, hospital decision-makers, and industry stakeholders. You are self-motivated, organised, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while collaborating with colleagues across international teams. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are willing to travel regularly throughout South Korea.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Life Sciences, or another relevant field.
  • 10+ years of proven sales experience in the medical industry 
  • Proven sales experience with a successful track record of achieving business results.
  • Strong communication and networking skills.
  • Good understanding of the South Korean healthcare market.
  • Good command of English with a strong commitment to continuously developing communication skills to effectively collaborate with international colleagues and global HQ.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Experience working within radiation oncology or or high-end medical equipment or software solutions (e.g., RTPS, OIS, or PACS) is highly valued. 
    • Medical technology, or a related healthcare field, is also something that would contribute in this job.

Meritorious qualifications

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Engineering, or Physics.
  • Experience working with radiation therapy or oncology-related solutions.
  • Experience with hospital procurement processes and healthcare sales.
  • Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
